April 2022 was undeniably the most significant month in Dear Abbeys history. Celebrating 30 years of establishment with a show at the end of April 2022 along with ambitious recording studio plans, The Dear Abbeys knew they had to raise the stakes… and so they did… Giving Day is an annual day of collegiate fundraising for student organizations, clubs, and sports that rely heavily on donations. April 6th, 2022 was the day the Abbeys incorporated a tier-list to incentivize donors for Giving Day 2022. Never in a million years did they think they would raise over $8,000, break Boston U giving day records, and stomach the many challenges from the tier list. With hundreds of donors and supporters at their side, the Abbeys had promises to keep. They soon embarked on a daunting journey which formulated into marketing content and lifelong memories. People speculated: “did they actually do any of the tier-list challenges?” The answer: yes…yes they did. In this five episode, tell-all documentary series, The Dear Abbeys will reflect upon the month of April 2022. Moreover, they will highlight the ups and downs behind the preparation of the 30th anniversary concert. You will witness never-before-seen footage, hear memorable stories, and see the Dear Abbeys reminisce on the most remarkable month in Abbeys history.
